Learn to transform your pre-loved clothes into something new and fashionable; try your hand at juggling or plate spinning; turn your travel adventures into a memoir; or learn the basics of African drumming in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Workshops cover a range of art-forms including dance, life-drawing, drumming, travel writing, circus, music production, claywork, cardboard sculpture, weaving, origami, up cycling pre-loved clothes and singing. So try something different, learn something new and taste test the arts.

Exposed! The story of swimwear is on at the Queensland Museum.
From neck-to-knee to next to nothing!
The story of swimwear highlights the designs and designers, past and present, at the forefront of Australian swimwear fashion. Movie sirens, aquatic stars, models, bathing beauties, athletes, sporting icons, swimmers and designers all played their part in the evolution of the modern swimsuit. Blurring the boundaries between underwear and outerwear, the swimsuit continues to make shock waves.
The warmth and excitement of Italy takes over Brisbane during Italian Week. This year’s festivities will serve up the finest Italian food, wine, fashion, music, arts and sports for all to enjoy.
The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) presents the Australian premiere of the Italian masterpiece ‘Cabiria’, with an introduction by Martin Scorsese.
Also on is the fabulous exhibition by Ron Mueck – a must see.
